4" Bottom Connection

The DPSB is the only economy stuffing box in the WSI line available with a 4" bottom connection — accommodating larger production tubing strings that other models cannot.

Misalignment Tolerance

WSI's distinctive misaligning feature allows the DPSB to accommodate moderate pumping unit misalignment during installation — reducing setup time and minimizing side-load stress on the polished rod.

Convertible to Inverted Style

The DPSB body can be converted to the Inverted Double Pack (IVDPSB) configuration in the field — delivering a lower profile when clearance is limited, without replacing the entire assembly.

Grease Zerk Standard

Grease fitting included as standard equipment. Optional Oil Reservoir Gland (ORG) for continuous lubrication, or ELUG™ for environmental compliance and secondary seal capability.

Corrosion-Resistant Coatings

Packing Options

Rod sizes 1" through 1-¾" in sets of 4 (3 top cone + 1 bottom cone). Select the compound based on your well fluid chemistry, temperature, and operating conditions. WSI continually tests new materials.

Provides a secondary seal above the DPSB for leak detection. Connects directly to the WSI ECSS™ Environmental Shutdown Switch and anti-pollution tank. Fits any Classic style stuffing box. Rod sizes 1"–1-¾".

Standard Oil Reservoir Gland

S-ORG™

One quart oil reservoir for wells that pump or flow off. Top split cone wiper controls oil film on polished rod. Works with ECSS™. Fits any Classic style stuffing box including DPSB.

Polished Rod Lubricator

ROD LUBRICATOR

1 quart reservoir reduces friction heat between the polished rod and packing — extending DPSB packing life significantly. Recommended for all wells on timer controls that may stop on the upstroke.
